Another Term has come and gone. I have improved, yes, but rather disappointingly, only by one grade. This has impacted me quite a bit as I felt I had really worked hard in my preparations for the test. In this term, we were tested about acids and bases, atomic structure, plant reproduction and Refraction and reflection. It was also very hard to cope with as Ms Chia did not have sufficient time to help us go through all the Topics, and Refraction and Reflection was left partly unfinished.
I think my main problem in this test was carelessness, most noticeably in electronic configuration. I was careless and kept missing out important points in my graphs, and since there were quite a few of them, I did not do well and had many marks deducted from the section. Also, chemical bonding has always been hard to understand for me. It is very confusing and I did some of them wrongly:( However on the bright side, I scored well marks for the plants reproduction questions because we had covered it in primary school and it is pretty straight forward.
I am still striving to work towards my goal of A2, and Term 3 might be just the term where I can achieve that. I will have to work hard for that goal and at the same time stop being careless!!
