Honestly....I think that Term 1 has not gone very well for me. I always have difficulty coping with the newly learned topics in the first term of the year because I am unable to "buck up". However, it has been a bright learning experience for me:) I have learnt many new and interesting topics which have piqued my interest in this term, all owing to our science teacher Ms Chia!
I obtained a very bad grade of C6 in this term, which dampened my spirits quite a bit. I think it was because I have some difficulty adapting to school life again after a 2 month long holiday. Ms Chia had given us the notes for Periodic table before the Holidays because it was a self study topic. I did rather well on the questions concerning this topic in the test, but sadly, I fared badly for atomic particles because I still had doubts about Electronic configuration. Also, I think it was becasue I spent quite a bit of my time playing computer games, distracting me from focusing on studying science, especially since it is such a broad topic.
I have firmly decided to stop my gaming habits entirely as this term has not gone well for me due to it. Also, in the future I will clarify whatever doubts with Ms Chia before the test so that I can be confident and well-prepared. Because of my poor science grade, I will also have to go for science Remedial (attending remedial for the first time!!!) . I hope this will allow me to do better. Never give up and keep moving forward!!
